Embossing

Let's face it, you're an arts and crafts diva. You live to make your own backgrounds of nearly any project you can imagine!

Tools of the Trade

As with impression on your project, you'll need: * Embossing Plates or Folders: There are tons of readySet'>hello to a friend. * Paper: As long as it's not too delicate or thick, you can emboss any kind of paper you want. Card stock and vellum are popular choices. * Embossing Machine: EmbossingOnly'>die cut machine. * Platforms and Pads: Protect your stamps. After stamping your paper with a rubber stamp, sprinkle some embossing powder over the impression and brush the excess away. Then take a heat gun to the paper. Be sure to keep the heat gun at least six inches away from the paper or it will burn ruining your image. Once the ink powder begins to look glossy, remove the heat and let cool.
